Countryside Estate Days 2013

Our next annual Estate Days will be held on Thursday 6th and Thursday 13th June 2013. Both days are now fully booked.

We welcome up to 200 pupils from our local primary schools on each of these days.
Groups of visitors experience an exciting round-robin of activities throughout the day, including meeting our chicks and pigs, bottle-feeding our buffalo calves, planting a salad and interacting with an owl from the Hawk Conservancy. Picnic lunches are eaten in the grounds of Laverstoke Estate, the home of Jody and Clare Scheckter.

A few weeks in advance, a compulsory risk assessment and briefing session for the lead teachers will be held one afternoon after school at Clare Scheckter’s home.
