More than just school visits to the farm

In 2009, Laverstoke Park has welcomed approximately two and a half thousand learners of all ages to the farm to find out about why farms are important and where food really comes from.

They see many different aspects of the farm, whether vegetable growing, experiencing harvesting of veg first hand (e.g. potato scrabbling), caring for animals, learning about animals (chicks, piglets, lambs, calves etc), being a responsible citizen in caring for the environment, composting, dairy production and a lot more.
