Dear Children
The farm has special 
breeds of chickens, pigs, cows and sheep which you will not see on other farms. They are known as “rare breeds" and are very special as there are not many of them left in Britain. We want to make sure that these old breeds do not die out.
We also find that rare breeds grow more slowly than others. Meat from these animals tastes better and helps to keep us healthy.
