Our sheep

We have 2 different breeds of sheep.

They all live outside in the fields and enjoy the mixture of grasses, herbs and clover that we have here.

The lambs are born in April. When the mothers are due for lambing they are brought into the lambing sheds.

Lleyn sheep are a Welsh breed. They have white wool and no horns.

Hebridean sheep are a rare Scottish breed. They are black with curly horns and are smaller than some breeds.
