The Cultivator
The Cultivator is pulled by the Quad Tractor. When the animals and other machinery are in the fields, their weight compacts the soil, so we use the Culivator to loosen the soil.
We use the discs with the cultivator so it can cut through the soil to a greater depth. Click on the picture and you will be able to see the sharp discs that cut through the ground and turn the soil. We need to do this to our fields as it also encourages the weed seeds to germinate then we will do it again to kill all the weeds. We can then plant our seeds into a weed free seed bed without the use of pesticides.
